Music Promotion Toolkit is published by Virtual Publicist. It is a companion resource, not an independent review site or a separate PR agency. Links to VP take you to its product, artist analysis and curated music-industry Collections.
The toolkit is useful on its own: you can create a plan and download templates without making a VP account. If you want to research industry contacts and opportunities, VP is an optional next step.
How we approach the guides
Our guides focus on preparation, relevance and honest communication. Planning windows and pitch examples are suggestions to adapt, not universal rules or performance guarantees. Where a platform has specific requirements, we link to its original guidance so you can check the current version.
We do not present fictional artist quotes as customer proof, sell guaranteed streams or claim that a Collection guarantees a placement. Any future case study should identify its timeframe, work performed and documented outcomes.
Your entries stay in your browser
The release planner and press release editor run locally in this browser tab. The toolkit does not submit your artist name, dates, draft text or contact details to VP. It does not save those entries between visits; download your work before leaving.
Opening a VP link takes you to a separate website covered by the VP privacy policy. Our outbound VP links include campaign labels identifying the resource you came from, not the text you entered. Hosting providers may process ordinary request data, and fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
